随着社会的发展,人类的政治、经济活动范围日益扩大、效率不断提高,这些对通信服务提出了更高的要求。新一代的移动通信是个人通信,也叫做第三代移动通信系统(3G),这是当今通信领域最热门的话题之一。移动通信的目标就是要实现无论任何人在任何时候和任何地点,都能够和任何其他人进行任何类型的信息交换。目前,国际电信联盟(ITU)接受的宽带CDMA方案有三种:WCDMA、CDMA2000以及TD-SCDMA。
本文主要研究WCDMA下行链路的功率控制。文章首先介绍了移动通信的发展历史和第三代移动通信的发展状况;接下来介绍了WCDMA的相关知识和其关键技术;然后介绍功率控制的准则、分类、方法和国内外的研究现状等;最后介绍对下行功率控制的SIR参数的研究仿真,深入探讨了功率控制。在移动通信系统中,技术频带和发射功率都是有限的系统资源,如何更好地利用这些资源是所有相关技术研究的最终目标。由于要求第三代移动通信系统,是一个能支持多业务、多媒体、综合化的系统,在干扰抑制技术没有达到令人满意效果的时候,下行链路的负荷更大,前向链路将成为系统容量的瓶颈,故作为WCDMA关键技术之一的下行功率控制也就显得更加重要。随着前向链路的瓶颈问题越来越突出,对下行功率控制的要求也随之提高,所以研究下行功率控制具有很好的现实意义。

Research and simulation about power control in WCDMA mobile communication system
Abstract
With the development of society, the scope of human political and economic activities are trend to expand and efficiency continues to improve, there has been a corresponding increase in demand for communication service. A new generation of mobile communications is personal communications, also known as third generation mobile communication system. This is one of the most popular topics among the field of communications, the goal is to achieve whoever at whenever and wherever, will be able to carry out whatever information with whomever . Currently, the International Telecommunication Union(ITU) accepted three types of broadband CDMA project : WCDMA、CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA。
In this paper ,the major research is WCDMA downlink power control. First ,introduced the history of the mobile communications development and development of the third generation mobile communications; Second, introduced WCDMA related knowledge and its key technologies; Third ,introduced the rules, classifications, and methods of research and domestic and foreign the research status on power control; Finally introduced the research and simulation on SIR parameters in the downlink power control ,probing into the power of control .In mobile communication system, frequency and power are limited system resource, and how to make better use of these resources is the ultimate goal of all relevant technology research. For the third generation mobile communications system must be able to support more serves, multimedia, integrated system, interference suppression technology in the absence of satisfactory ,downlink load is greater and limits the system capacity. So as one of the key technologies of WCDMA ,downlink power control becomes more important. With the problem of downlink is more and more serious, the requirements of downlink power control increase. So the research of downlink power control has good significance.
