本文简单介绍了车辆导航系统(VNS)的开发目的和意义,对国内外VNS的发展情况作了简要的回顾,并讨论了车辆导航系统各个模块的功能及其所利用的技术手段;着重讨论了车载GPS导航系统中的地图匹配技术。通过对现有地图匹配算法的分析比较,提出了改进的地图匹配算法,并分析了该算法的原理、过程及实现方式;最后,根据系统的整体设计及实践,叙述了本系统尚待解决的问题及其开发前景。

This paper recommends that the purpose and meaning of Vehicle Navigation System(VNS), simply reviewing the state of development in both here and abroad,and discuss the function and technologies used of each module in VNS.Especially, Map Matching in VNS is discussed. With analyzing and comparing Map Matching Arithmetic in existence, the improved Map Matching Arithmetic is put forward, and its theory, process and implement manner is analyzed. Finally, based on the whole design and practice of this system, this text introduces the problems which have not been solved yet and its exploiting foreground.
