随着科技的发展，无线局域网开始进入人们的生活，但同时，无线局域网的安全问题也日益得到人们的关注。安全问题成为制约无线局域网发展的最大问题。本文阐述了有关无线局域网的标准：HIPERLAN、Bluetooth、 homeRF、 802.11和802.11i。特别详细的分析了主流的无线局域网标准802.11系列和专门为保证安全制定的802.11i，分析并且比较了它们的相同和不同之处。研究了802.11i在802.11的基础上在安全方面做出的改进，并且对于802.11i标准的整个认证过程和算法的改进做了详细的分析。

Abstract:

 

As the science develops, wireless local area network (WLAN) come into people’s life. But at the same time, the security problem of WLAN gains more attention. The security problem has become the bottleneck of the development of WLAN. A comprehensive overview of the development of the Wireless local network and the standard of HIPERLAN, Bluetooth, homeRF, 802.11 and 802.11i, has been presented in it, expecially in the mainstream standard such as 802.11 and the standard which formulate for security specially--802.11i. Analyse and investigate the identities and the items which are difference between them. The paper also research the amelioration of 802.11i on the security based on the 802.11 stardard. And also make analysis particularly in the whole authentication process and the amelioration on arithmetic of the 802.11i standard.
